Late birthday present for *arashini I just had to draw her cute Hideki ;-; I dunno what to say ;_;''' I hope that you likie it. best wishes to you... ;3;
Let me begin by saying i love how you composed this image and that the emotion evoked is brilliant!
My main critique for this image is that the traditional part, i think its watercolor, looks really rough. The paper texture in the background looks really out of place when contrasted with the digital addition of the white top and red petals. The way you changed the petals opacity to show depth is beautiful by the way You can smooth out the textures when that happens in photoshop a bit, go to filter>blur>gaussian blur and only blur by 1 to 3 pixels. It will smooth out the texture by only a bit so it blends better.
The anatomy is a bit stiff as well. Her elbows should come down to the mid waist and the forearms should be a bit longer. You can touch your shoulder with your fingers, so when straight up your fingers will pass the shoulder. here hers are barely even with her shoulder. Rounding your lines out in the arms and legs is the best way to avoid stiffness.
Overall this is a very well drawn and colored image and you are very skilled in combining mediums very nice work on this image keep up the great work
To those with memories of poison nostalgia is a killer. The tragedy is brought out in an endearingly beautiful and heartbreaking rendition. I have no idea who she is remembering but judging by the manner she is holding the skull and the clear sorrow it was someone close. Loss is always a pain to the heart and we cannot help but remember the times which passed and sometimes imagine the times which could have been. The style suits the sombre tragedy of this piece and the colour gives the fleeting image of life as it approaches the inevitability of death and those who are left behind to mourn.
very stong expression in her face - also I really like the blurry petals! So beautiful! It's a little sketchy though - it might be more polished. Apart from that it's very beautiful!
